Ever since I started blogging a lot of interests that I have had in the past seem more possible, because now I have a place to try these new projects. So far it has just been the blog on this website, but lately I have been taking steps to expand this website into so much more. This way I can hopefully turn my one side project into multiple passion projects that I can transform into a full-time career.
Starting off, the website began more so as a resume booster showing things that I can do, and I guess part of it still is that. I began the blog focusing on professional advice from experiences I’ve had, and I enjoyed it. However, being confined to this one idea made being creative with my posts difficult and I lost interest in what I was writing about. I still wanted to create content that would interest and help people, so I started thinking how I can create new fresh content that would keep everyone’s interest. Well, I am happy to say that I have found the solution.
Over the next few weeks I am going to be changing the website from just being a blog to a website with a variety of content. I will still be making blog posts, but on top of that I want to dive in to making videos, creative design projects, and tips and tricks and getting started with your own projects. That way you can see how I get started and see the steps I take to grow.
The reason I am changing the format of the website this way is because there are a lot of aspects to online content creation that interest me that I want to explore, but I will be exploring these aspects as a beginner. Only doing posts where I give advice wouldn’t be as effective if I am just beginning a topic. Also, with this new format I will be putting out more content more frequently. So, keep your eyes peeled for the changes. I will be sure to put out updates as often as I can.
